1st Flush Darjeeling. Spring harvested tea with a bright and lively flavour.

Darjeelings are named after the region of India they are grown in – Darjeeling. The Flush part of the name refers to when in the season the tea was harvested. Darjeelings are harvested 3 times: In the spring, summer, and fall. Each harvest (and farm) brings a different kind of finished product. Our ┬áSpring Darjeeling (1st flush) grows high in the hills just below the Himalayas. It’s harvested in the Spring (usually during the monsoon season) with the final result of a bright, light cup of tea with unmistakable muscatel notes.
