About Anji White Tea

Anji White Tea – Premium Chinese White Tea for Wellness & Clarity

Discover the pure elegance of Anji White Tea , a rare and highly sought-after variety of Chinese white tea celebrated for its delicate flavor, smooth body, and exceptional health benefits. Sourced directly from the lush, misty mountains of Anji County in Zhejiang Province, China, this limited-harvest tea is known for its naturally low caffeine content, high amino acid concentration, and a sweet, buttery finish that lingers gently on the palate.

What is Anji White Tea?

Despite the name, Anji White Tea (安吉白茶) is technically a green tea, derived from a rare tea cultivar called Bai Ye Yi Hao , which means “White Leaf No. 1.” This cultivar only flushes for a short 30-day window each spring, making Anji White one of the most exclusive and seasonally sensitive teas on the market.

Its leaves are a pale, jade-green color with a hint of silvery white fuzz, resembling white tea but processed as green tea. The result? A beautifully balanced brew that delivers the best of both worlds – the freshness of green tea and the smooth, calming profile of white tea.

Doris Quinn★★★★

I am an herbal tea fan. Please understand that I do not like green teas, but you “talked” me into trying it. Salar delivered it today and I immediately steeped a cup. I can tell it is a green tea, but that natural sweetness you described make it a good green tea. I gave it 4 stars because I am not a green tea fan. But I will have the occasional cup of this. It tastes really good. Green tea lovers will probably give it 5 stars, and my green tea loving friends will get a cup of this and be very pleasantly surprised by it, I’m sure. Your description of it is spot on.
