This custom tea blend was made specifically for Charlotte. She was looking for a Raspberry Vanilla blend. She chose this specific mix because she loves the way it reminds her of a raspberry cake that her aunt makes.

I love the touch of spice in this fruity tea. It’s one of my favourites!

Last summer I decided to mix some of the Vintage Fork Raspberry delight tea with some vanilla flavoured tea I had in my cupboard, and the result was so delicious that I decided I should email Sarah and ask if she could make a blend like that to have in her shop. She wrote back that she was working on developing a customer tea blends program and asked if I would like to be a pilot for it. She came up with two different options for a raspberry vanilla blend that could be added to the store, and let me choose which one I liked.
I chose this blend to be Charlotte’s Blend because it was so complex and delicious. I have never had a blend quite like this from any other tea brand. It is fresh and fruity with a strong raspberry flavour, but it has sweet notes of vanilla, and just a touch of traditional chai spices to give it extra depth. It reminds me a lot of a raspberry cake that my Aunty Pat makes. I couldn’t be more pleased to have such a unique and delectable flavour of tea bearing my name! This one will be part of my regular rotation for the foreseeable future.

I was little hesitant because I don’t love a lot of spice in my tea, but all the other flavours sounded intriguing, so I decided to give it a try, and I was glad I did! The cinnamon et al. are so light they leave you with just a delicious warm whisper of spice while the raspberry/vanilla flavours take centre stage.
